I had the incredible opportunity to represent the Team Republic of Korea on the national team in the First Global Challenge, a reknown international robotics competition.
The New Technology Experience event brought together teams from around the world to solve real-world problems by presenting new ideas using technology. My team’s project, Seaweed Farm Monitoring System Using AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle), focused on improving sustainable aquaculture through advanced monitoring solutions.
Working as a team required collaboration, creativity, and technical expertise. I’m proud that our team was able to place as finalists in the New Technology Experience division and win the gold prize for the Sofia Kovalevskaya Award, which is awarded to teams that documented and shared their experience with the rest of the First Global community.
Through this challenge, I was able to strengthen my problem-solving skills and deepen my interest in robotics.
